Who are the Ezîdîs ? – One of the oldest ethno-religious communities in the world
The Ezîdî community is a Kurdish-speaking ethno-religious group that originated in Mesopotamia. They are known to follow an ancient religion : the Êzdiyatî or Ezidism, and to have suffered more than 70 genocides and massacres in the course of their history.
